2004 - Option Matrix was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in September 2004 with 100% focus on US / UK clients - We had 12 employees then and work processes were very ad hoc.
2007 - We added technology skills in open source technologies as most work we got by selling to US & UK clients without an onsite sales office was in the B2B and B2C / C2C arena where open source technologies are more popular . University Tree Model ensured that we had near zero attrition. We achieved nearly 25% growth in revenues over the previous year. We had 30 employees at end of 2007.
2008 - We launched formal quality processes aligned
with SEI CMMI Level 3 standards and our repeat business levels started rising towards 50-70% of our revenue. Even though recession 
made it tough to get new projects, our clients just stuck with us and we achieved a healthy growth (team of 50 employees). We also starting focusing on managing the employee win-win levels as well as engineering standards. The growth in revenues was 63% and profits were higher by about 70% compared to last year.
2005 - 2006 - Company had 22 employees at end of 2005 and basic processes like HR, Project Management and Office Administration were delegated. We did all our projects using Microsoft Technologies but there was no defined set of steps for project life cycle and delays / over-runs were common. Company worked on its process maturity and quality standards to ensure alignment with standards and client expectations.
2009 - Option Matrix has continued to hire employees and our team strength is expected to be about 85 people by end of 2010. Repeat business continues to be our mainstay and we are upgrading our quality process towards zero defect tolerance. Company intends to launch onsite business development presence in US and UK as soon as there are signs of positive emergence of markets from the current recession.
